A special occasion....

Guess what happened to us last week...

My oldest grandchild, Rhett, was baptized by his dad, on Jan. 6, 2007.

Rhett is one very special boy. They asked him what his favorite scripture is and he said, 'The one in Ezekiel where the water is coming out of the temple and getting higher." Isn't that something? He loves to read and is learning from the scriptures. I am very proud of him and compliment his parents for teaching him so well.

I like the group shot of us in front of the font. It was very wonderful to be there. (Megan went home, quick, with some cousins).

I enjoyed watching Redge with his son...and you could certainly feel the love of a dad for his boy
Redge admitted..."It's different when it's your kid!" Yep it is...and so it all begins....

Rhett is smart and handsome and obedient. He loves to work! Redge told us that sometimes he might be laying around not doing much and he's just miserable! So they give him some jobs and after he "moans appropriately," he gets going on the tasks and pretty soon he's just a whistling and as happy as he can be!

Good for you, Mr. Rhettster...hard workers make good missionaries!!!!

Did you know that the gift of the Holy Ghost is the GREATEST of all gifts. I hope and pray that we can all remember what we have been given.

One more thing...when we first got there, and knocked on the front door, Rhett came running to open it and began jumping straight up and down about 10 times. He was so excited that we came. Sure makes this 'ole G ma feel good.

Yes, Rhett, thank you for setting an example for the rest of the cousins to follow.

We love you!
