ONE MORE NIGHT!!!!! Can you believe it?!?! Sam started working nights last September and his manager was convinced that it would be at least one year before he got the day shift. Well, it is June 11 and tonight is his last night. Yipee! We are excited and nervous and relieved and confused and just so many things. This is what we have wanted since September and it seems like we have been waiting for so long to have days. We were so afraid of working the nights at first but the Lord blessed us and we adjusted. We figured out life and how to make this night schedule work for our family. We found ways to spend time together and we found blessings from the night shift and now it is changing. We have been praying for it to change and now it is here. We are so excited that this day has finally come. But now we will have to figure our life out all over again and find a new system. We will do it! There will be so many good things that come from this. We will get to be with Daddy every night now. We missed him sooooo many times at bedtime. We won't make as much money but Daddy will be healthier and happier. Our bodies
just weren't made to work at night and they don't do it well. Our bodies fight what isn't right. We have watched our Daddy work so hard to provide for us. He willingly worked this night shift for this last nine months. And it was a lot harder than we wanted it to be. There were times when he was sick or depressed or tired. But he did it. WE are so PROUD of him and that he did it!!! We love him and say a big thank you and job well done Daddy! We look forward to this new adventure and thank God that it is finally here.

Wow!!! I'm excited for the Sam McComas family! yay!!!! yipee!!! Goodie Goodie! Normal people life, now! You'll adjust fast...I'm proud of him also! auntie b
I am so happy for you. Life is so precious, I hate to have it pass me by BEING MISERABLE. Money isn't everything, that is unless you have none. Then it can be a priority to get it. Sam looks like he has lost weight. He has served his sentence, now he is just on parole. I love your family. Gma
What Jilly didn't mention is....notice in the first picture...the purple wall behind Sam and Miss Hailey. Isn't that bold? Well, that is Sam and Jills bedroom and it looks SO A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Doesn't Jill have great taste? SO fun.
And yes, it will be fun to see Sam without bags and dark circles under his eyes! He won't come over to visit and sleep on the floor the entire time. YIPPEE...
I just have to say we are humble for the way the Lord watches over and blesses His children. Prayers....answered...1) Mark and Amny could go to BYU for his degree. 2) Cody would know what he wants to major in 3) Sam could be on days 4) China baby will arrive safe and sound in her new home. Doesn't the Lord bless us? I am so grateful and acknowledge His arm...stretched out still.

P.S....we still pray for our China Baby...but like Marjorie Hinckley said...we have faith. Indeed, we do. We are kind of impatient but we have faith the right little girl is coming our way...
I'm so excited for your family! Congratulations!
