More thoughts on service:

Service is not something we endure on this earth so we can earn the right to live in the Celestial Kingdom. Service IS the very fiber of which an exalted life in the C Kingdom is made.

M. G Romney: It is only thru our learning how to take care of each other that we develp within us the Christ like love and disposition necessary to qualify us to return to His presence.

Mattt. 21:28-30 This parable illustrates the seriousness of doing that which we have covenanted to do:

A certain man had two sons and he came to the first son and said, "go work today in my vineyard."
The son answered: 'I will not, but afterward he repented and went."
And he came to the second son and said likewise.
And he answered and said, "I go sir," but went not.

Which of them did the will of the FAther? the first!

Jesus said (to the second son, who said he would but didn't):
"Verily I say unto you that the Publicans and Harlots go into the kingdom of God before you."

Think about that next time you don't want to go home visiting teaching!
